Adding A Link To A Post In An Instagram Story
Method 1: Reposting a post
The Instagram mobile app provides the ability to add links to regular posts to your own stories by using the repost feature. The method is the only option that supports the integration of full links to any post, but it's limited in terms of editing.

As a result, the familiar story editor will be displayed on the screen with a block placed in the center containing the previously selected record, the appearance of which changes with a single touch. In addition, it is quite possible to change the location and size of the link by analogy with any other element, be it a sticker or text.

And although by default, a new story through a repost is created with a fixed background, you can easily diversify the design by changing the color through drawing and adding additional images. Such graphic elements may well completely block the link, but at the same time, they will not affect the performance in any way.

When you have finished preparing the story, use the "Recipients" button in the lower right corner and in the pop-up window, click share opposite the "Your story" item. The content created in this way will contain a clickable link leading to a separate page with the selected post.
Method 2: Adding text
You can add a relevant solution to a link using the Text tool, which supports various design styles. Unfortunately, this method will allow you to create only an inscription, nothing more. When you click on it, nothing will happen, but if you wish, the user can still make the transition on his own.

Solving some problems
As igstories.online wrote during the publication of links, which is more related to the first method, various difficulties may arise, whether it is the absence of the desired button under the entry or error messages. To get rid of problems, you need to consider the following nuances:
The Instagram client should be updated to the latest up-to-date version through the official app store;
You can repost only if the author's profile is open;
The selected publication should not be restricted by privacy settings.
If under all conditions, the desired functions are not available, you can resort to extreme measures by reinstalling the application. It is also always possible to contact Instagram support through a special form.
